DIY Tiny Home Kits
DIY tiny home kit inclusions depend on the selected build level. A package may provide an engineered foundation, structural subfloor, galvanized steel framing, or a weather-tight shell; interior systems and finishes are not included unless the written proposal specifically lists them.
Foundation Packages
FOUNDATION PACKAGE
A foundation package may include the following project-specific components:
Purpose-built Trailer Made bumper-pull, gooseneck, hybrid trailer, or site-foundation system
Engineered structural steel construction
Axles, suspension, brakes, coupler, safety equipment, and leveling components when applicable
Protective coating system
Trailer Made lifetime foundation warranty when applicable to the selected foundation
Foundation + Subfloor Package
This package can add:
Structural floor framing
Insulated or ready-for-insulation floor system, depending on scope
Subfloor decking
Galvanized belly pan or underbody protection where specified
Foundation + Steel Frame Kit
A foundation-and-steel-frame kit can include:
Precision cold-formed galvanized steel wall panels
Roof and loft framing components
Pre-cut and labeled framing members
Engineered openings for windows and doors
Assembly drawings and project-specific documentation
Weather-Tight Shell Package
A shell package may add:
Exterior sheathing
Weather-resistant barrier
Roofing and exterior doors
Siding and windows
Flashing and exterior weather protection
Available Options
Optional scope may include insulation packages, specialty coatings, upgraded windows and doors, custom lofts, porches, decks, stairs, delivery, and other project-specific components when listed in the proposal.
What Is Not Automatically Included
Unless specifically listed in your proposal, a DIY kit does not automatically include interior electrical, plumbing, HVAC, cabinetry, appliances, fixtures, flooring, wall finishes, site work, permits, utility connections, or final installation labor.
